Family Activites You Can Do While Camping

Tags: , , , , ,

Camping is an activity that a lot of people really enjoy doing.  It is especially fun to take out the whole family to a campsite.  There are many things to do when you get out to a campsite. The really best part is probably the fact of being able to get away from it all and just relax and enjoy your time.So in this article these are going to be several activities that are available for you when camping.

First of all when you go camping probably the first thing you can enjoy doing is enjoying the hiking trails.  You can enjoy the hiking trails a couple of ways.Naturally you have the choice of bringing the whole family on a hike.Or if you are the type that likes adventure, you can go biking on the trails if you are allowed. This is a great thing you can do.  It is something I suggest all clients of my San Diego RV rentals service to do.

Another fun thing to do is to go fishing when you are out camping.Well naturally you are going to have to go to a campground that has a lake and fish in it.But if the camp site you choose does have one, fishing is going to be one of the best parts of the camping trip with the family. You can take the whole day if you wanted trying to catch fish.  And with the trailers you can rent like the ones at my Carlsbad RV rentals service you can store all the fish you catch in the refrigerator.

Another fun thing to do is explore all the different camping locations within a campground.  Of course this isn’t easy if you are camping the traditional route with a tent.  That would be because you would have to pack up and move every time.  But if you rent an RV like the ones in my Campland on the Bay RV rentals service it makes it easy to move.

So those were just a few of the great things you can do if you go camping.  As you can see there is a lot of variety you have to choose from when camping.

The Biggest Hotel on Earth

Tags: , , , ,

What is the Largest Hotel in the World?

The biggest hotel in the world is actually not just a single hotel, but a hotel and resort complex comprised of several establishments: The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, The Sands Expo Convention Center and The Palazzo Hotel and Casino Resort. The complex is located in the world-famouse gambling district, The Strip, Las Vegas.

The largest building in the western hemisphere is the Palazzo. The Palazzo boasts of 3,068 guest rooms and 105,000 square feet or 9,800 square meters of gambling space.

The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino has 4,049 guest rooms and a 120,000 square foot casino. The entire five-star complex itself consists of 8,108 hotel rooms.

List of the Biggest Hotels in the World

First World Hotel – 6,118 rooms

Located in Genting Highlands Resort, Malaysia, The First World Hotel is the biggest single hotel in terms of number of rooms. This hotel has 6,118 rooms. There are 90 restaurants, 80 shops, a movie theatre, a casino, a karaoke bar, an indoor park, an outdoor park and a snow park inside the complex.

MGM Grand Hotel – 5,690 rooms

The MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas was the biggest hotel in the world when it was first built. As today, The MGM Grand Hotel is still one of the largest hotels of all. There are more than 20 restaurants and 2 wedding chapels inside MGM. Roman-style showers and balconies and marble baths are suited to 751 rooms, from total of more than 5,000 available rooms.

The MGM Grand frequently hosts high-profile boxing events, which attract the rich and famous the world over. The MGM Grand is probably the most media-exposed of all hotels, thanks to local pay-per-view and global television coverage.

Luxor Hotel – 4,408 rooms

Luxor Hotel is also located in Las Vegas, Nevada (what is the size of Nevada?). Due to its unusual appearance, one can’t miss Luxor. The hotel is designed to imitate an Egyptian pyramid. A very luxurious accomodation is available inside the pyramid shape. These include an IMAX motionride theatre for motion-simulation/fun rides, magic shows, gambling and adult dance entertainment. To watch the last, one must be at least 18 years of age.

Don’t Make My Travel Mistakes

Tags: , , , ,

I really don’t like having to travel far on business and luckily for me my trips are few and far between. On a recent business trip to America I think I made almost every mistake in the book.

Things started to go wrong when I arrived at Gatwick airport in my car only to find that there were no more available airport parking spaces close to my terminal. I had to pay a premium price for a parking space that was miles from the airport.

I was already late and this only made the situation worse. The people at the check in desk were none too pleased telling me that I should have arrived at least an hour sooner. I was also told that I could have printed my boarding pass and checked in online before leaving home. Well you live and learn I suppose.

The early start had meant that I left home without having any breakfast so I immediately headed for one of the many airport restaurants. I couldn’t believe what they were charging for a full English breakfast and if I wasn’t travelling on expenses I wouldn’t have been too happy at paying the extortionate airport prices.

I arrived in Atlanta and immediately headed for one of the car hire providers. It turned out that there were a whole load of conferences in town and most of their more comfortable models had already been hired out. I had to accept a big old Chevrolet pickup for the duration of my stay. If I’d sensibly booked in advance I would have saved my employers some cash and maybe got myself a nice car.

When I came back to Atlanta airport I had forgotten to take my keys out of my pocket and I was wearing a new belt witha big American eagle metal buckle. My ovsersights resulted in me going through the body scanner no less than three times before I passed the security check.

Then, when I boarded my flight, I reallised that I had somehow lost my PDA. Maybe it was stolen, but the chances are that I had simply left it in the airport bar where I’d enjoyed a beer before my flight. Unfortunately my travel insurance didn’t cover me for lost or stolen items like this.

It’s pretty obvious that I am a little out of practice when it comes to air travel these days. I think I should simply stay put here in the UK.
