One way of having a baby is through a midwife. It may not be as common as delivering in a hospital but it is already gaining popularity among mothers. The reason why it isn’t as widely done is the common misconception that it is unsophisticated. What I mean by that is not a lot of technology is used to do the procedure. And with not a lot of technology people associate it with being not advanced or safe. In this article we are going to show how a midwife has advanced in technology as well.
Well as a San Diego midwife I know first hand that midwives are starting to use more technology.Although natural way of delivering a baby should be the main goal of midwifery. It is still possible to incorporate some technology in this practice. An ultrasound is one technology that midwives also use.The reason for this is so that a midwife can also determine the gender of the baby.
Another advancement that is being done in my homebirth midwife San Diego service is that we do have emergency equipment at birth.Technology like things that can resuscitate. And many more emergency tools and equipments that may be needed at times. These technological advances in midwifery make it more safer than ever.
Another advance being done with my waterbirth in San Diego service is the waterbirth kits being used. Waterbirths are when you have the baby in water. The kits help the mother to deliver the baby easier. They also are in place to help the mother as well as the baby stay safe.
As you can see midwifery is more advanced now and safer than what people think of it.The method is just more natural as compared to hospital delivery but the practice has advanced also. This would mean that it is safer now to have midwives deliver your baby. The tools that midwives now use make delivering babies at home as safe as delivering babies in the hospital. So rest assured that homebirthing is a safe way to deliver your babies.

Hiring a midwife can be one option in delivering your baby. This is usually done at the homes of the mothers. Plus this method is usually performed naturally.Natural in the sense that no drugs is used during the delivery of the baby.A lot of mothers are now choosing it because they can get a lot of benefits from it.Some examples of these benefits are that no drugs are used and that the delivery is done in the comforts of their homes. So we shall look at the role of a midwife in delivery.
So first of all let’s define what a midwife is.A midwife is a person who assists pregnant mothers in the delivery of their babies. Usually not a doctor. But as a San Diego midwife there is many other things that I know a midwife does. Of course, they are not doctors but they do have many roles that help.
Most of their duties concentrate on assisting the delivery. But they also advice and help during pregnancy. And also, they are still giving advice and some help even after the delivery of the babies. So most women who are midwives San Diego have a huge job when it comes to pregnancy and delivery. Many women rely on them heavily for care and advice.Although they are not as medically qualified like nurses or doctors, most pregnant women still trust their advice.
Of course the biggest job of the midwife is during delivery. This is more evident in a homebirth.Although midiwives are still allowed to help inside the hospitals. But when it comes to home birthing their responsibility grows larger. As I mentioned earlier as a San Diego midwife although not usually a doctor or nurse they do have training medically. This training will help them in case an emergency happens.
So those are some of the things that a midwife does. As you can see they have a lot of responsibility. But a lot of midwives have done a great job. They have helped a lot of women during the many years they have been midwives. And they will help more as the practice become more popular in the years to come.
