Maintaining their car is one of the most neglected things that people must do. But if you think about it that is a very bad thing to do. After all a car is something that you have invested a lot of money in.That is enough motivation for you maintain it well. Especially since the consequences of not maintaining it is more expensive than if you did do maintenance. So here are three tips which can be a major tip in the maintenance of your car.
Regularly changing the oils of your car is the fisrt tip that I would give you.The oil can be compared to the blood of the people and without blood the car can’t run well or if the blood is diseased then the car won’t function well. Generally I tell all my customers of my San Diego auto repair shop to make sure to change their oil every 3000 miles. That direction is enough to keep the performance of your car in tip-top shape for a long time.
The next thing you must do that people often overlook is doing tune ups for your car. Tune ups are essential for your car because it lets you make sure everything is working fine. You can also change parts of the car which are already worn out. Customers of my San Diego smog check shop who fail their smog test I always tell them to do this. Most of the time they fail their smog test because they did not make their cars go through regular tuneups.
The third tip I woud give is to always maintain the brakes of your car. They are important to maintain not because they are expensive to replace. They are very important because this is what keeps you from hitting other objects which can kill you.Working brakes can save your life while manfunctioning ones can kill you. I tell my customers of my San Diego brakes shop to always keep their brake fluid good.
If you just abide by these three tips then you and your car would have a very long partnership.

One of the biggest investment that a person would do in his/her life is owning a car.And in most cases it would take a person many years before he/she can pay off that car. That is why you have to make sure to take care of the car you bought so that it would be money well spent and can last for a long time.In this article we are going to talk about some ways you can do that.
One of the things you can do to keep your car in good shape is to regularly change its oils.It may be unbelievable at first but this task is an effective way to keep your car in good shape. In my San Marcos auto repair shop I have seen how cars that do regular oil changes last longer. It makes sense because oil is what helps the engine run.Changing oils would definitely result to keeping your car in good shape.
Regular tuneups is another thing you can make your car undergo so that its performance would be in its best shape always. This is an often overlooked part of maintaining your car that is important in making your car’s life longer. I recommend all my clients of my Carlsbad auto repair shop to at least do it once a year.Reason for this is to detect any small problems which can worsen and give you more problems.
Last tip you should take in mind is to drive gently.A car is not a cheap investment so you might as well go easy on your driving. If you don’t drive well then it will affect the longevity of your car.But it does not hurt your car when you drive easy. It is simple advice but it is advice I give all my clients of my San Marcos transmission repair shop. If they treat their car right their car will treat them right by lasting a long time.
If you can just follow the tips above then you can have a very good car for a long, long time.

One of the duties every car owner has is having to maintain it’s engine. If you don’t make it a point to maintain your vehicle and neglect it, you will have expensive auto repair costs. If you really neglect it bad enough you might even fail a smog check. With failing a smog check you have to suffer more expensive auto repair costs. Or you might face the possibility of not being allowed to drive your car.So we shall take a look at some things you can do to help you avoid having some of these problems happening to you.
First of all as mentioned in the previous paragraph you have to keep proper maintenance. All my clients of my San Diego auto repair shop I stress to them how important it is to bring their car in regularly. What regular maintenance of your car does, is it allows us to find problems before it is too late. And just like practically all auto repair issues, the earlier you can fix something the less expensive it will be.
Another thing I stress is to make sure they change their oil regularly. Failing to do that is sometimes the root cause of why my clients fail in my San Diego smog check service shop. But if they consistently do this one simple thing their car will run smoother. In addition an engine that is well oiled generally lasts longer.
Finally an often overlooked part of the car are the brakes. This is one part of the car that is always used but often overlooked. Whenever a customer of mine brings in a car to my San Diego brake service it is sometimes one of the most expensive repairs. So I always make sure afterwards they know what to do to take care of it.Doing certain simple steps like making sure the fluids are at good levels.
So those are just some simple things you can do to help yourself in avoiding big expensive auto repairs. Plus they will also help you make sure you pass your next smog test.
